Cook II

Prepare large quantities of food and assists in serving meals in accordance with the menu and recipes. Provide proper plate-up and portion control. Maintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation. Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned. Adhere to safety and sanitary practices. Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised. Involved with the more complex requirements of the position. Applies some advanced cooking skills. Does not have supervisory responsibilities.


Prefer 3-4 years prior cook experience in a full service restaurant. Knowledge of service standards and systems. Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English. Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
