Ice Plant Operator
Under the supervision of the Ice Plant Supervisor, directs and is responsible for operations of the Ice Plant.1. Must be able to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, man lift etc.2. Knowledge of material safety data sheets (MSDS) and storage requirements to meet compablilty of products based on hazard class is required.3. Knowledge of ice plant equipment, troubleshooting, and repair is required.4. Knowledge of ice production and water sources sampling is required.5. Must be able to understand test results from approved laboratory sources.
Qualifications
Five- Six (5-6) years of experience in ice plant operations, warehousing, or inventory control is required.
Certifications /Education
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire is required. Driver's License is required.
