Maintenance Technical Advisor

The Maintenance Technical Advisor is responsible to the Maintenance Manager for the overall planning and execution of the Maintenance Department in its entirety. Duties include, but not limited to First Pass Yield, Production Control, Repair & Return, Tasker Refurbishment, Retrofit, Allied Trades, Shop Supply, and Transportation. Duties as Maintenance Technical Advisor include assisting the Maintenance Manager in the overall execution of the department. Must demonstrate exemplary management and leadership capabilities, especially in the areas of collaboration, team building, talent development, fiscal and human resources management, and process improvement. Is an iatrical part of the Vectrus Team to the highest level of execution of the Performance Work Statement (PWS); and diligently seeks opportunities to align the Maintenance Department with the ideals of the Customer. Analyzes problems and recommends solutions to complex problems. Tracks concerns and issues of importance to the Maintenance Manager. Responsible for the development of performance standards for taskers, production control, repair & return, refurbishment, retrofit, allied trades, and shop supply Supervisors on a regular basis. Monitors production for compliance with scheduling directives, cost factors, and other standards. Tracks maintenance production and taskers in a efficient manner. Responsible for resourcing departments and ensuring production goals are met.
