Armament Repairer

The Armament Repairer performs full range of operator, organizational, direct support and limited general support equipment repairs on weapons and components composed of a number of subassemblies that include mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. Determines the nature and extent of repairs required. Services, tests, troubleshoot, adjust and repair all components of the weapon system. Orders repair parts as required by military Technical Manuals. Types of equipment to be repaired include, but not limited to M109 Howitzer, M1 Tank, M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
