Tool Room Custodian

Receives, issues and keeps records of tools, equipment and other materials used by the Program. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all tools assigned within the Tool Rooms. Evaluates the condition of all tools, and makes the determination as to whether they are safety compliant or need to be removed from service. Provides basic maintenance to tools, and performs minor repairs to tools deemed to be repairable. Prevents minor losses through the safeguarding of repair tools and equipment valued at various dollar amounts.
