Firefighter
Responsible for responding to emergencies as a line fire fighter; Maintains vehicles, equipment, tools, and protective clothing in a serviceable ready-response condition; Operates pumps, foam generators, boom and ground sweeps nozzles, and other similar equipment; Exercises caution to avoid personal injury and property damage
Qualifications
Five years fire fighting experience in the US Military, DOD, or civilian; English language proficiency level 3
Certifications /Education
High School graduate with 2-3 yrs. experience or Associates degree; Must meet the minimum Fire Fighter / Crew Chief Certifications: Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations, Fire Fighter I and II, and Airport Fire Fighter
