Electronics Technician Maintenance I
Assembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components. Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. Writes technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations for consideration by engineers in broader determinations affecting system design. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.
Qualifications
Experience in an electronics maintenance or reliability role. Ability to make decisions regarding work priorities. Ability to read charts and document numbers and events on paper and in computer. Ability to read electrical indicators and laboratory equipment indicators.
Certifications /Education
Associate's Degree in Industrial Electronics completion of an accredited Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics or equivalent military training
