Develops and implements procedures for disposing of hazardous or contaminated materials in accordance with governmental regulations. Oversees the design and implementation of waste disposal systems. Responsible for training staff in the safe and proper handling of waste materials. Develops and updates waste management policies and procedures. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
