Motor Vehicle Mechanic Helper

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, performs a variety of tasks such as washing, cleaning, and lubricating vehicles; assisting customers in the preparation of vehicle work orders and determining type and source of service required; shuttle vehicles to and from repair activities; and monitoring status of vehicles at service/repair activities.Coordinate vehicle repair/service requirements with repair/service activities.  Generate, maintain and complete all necessary documentation relating to vehicle maintenance.  Coordinate manufacturer recall notices between customers and servicing activities.  As required, maintain and jump-start batteries; pressure check and replace/change tires; wash and clean interior and exterior of vehicles; check and maintain vehicle fluid levels; perform minor maintenance to the automatic car wash; assist dispatchers; accomplish minor vehicle maintenance tasks; order and pickup vehicle maintenance supplies; maintain tools and equipment and clean work areas; perform other duties as assigned.
