Structural Systems Technician

Responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all facility structures within an area, acting as the contact for emergency situations that affects the facility's ability to be opened and used. Performs the full range of operation and maintenance to include but not limited to: scheduled and unscheduled; preventive maintenance, inspections, analysis, troubleshooting and repairs. Uses a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database to track work orders, request material and update work order statuses as needed. This position will coordinate outside contractors or vendors for various services, and monitors their performance to ensure work is completed according to specifications. May act as the project coordinator for all size projects including large scale repairs and new facility construction projects.
