Architect

His/her duties may include: provision of Architect-Engineer services in support of minor or major construction of facilities projects that may include Preliminary Engineering Reports, design packages, new construction, modification/rehabilitation construction, and repair construction; services shall include, but are not limited to engineering, project management, construction, supervision, inspection, documentation, and activation and validation; consults with customers to determine functional and spatial requirements, and prepares information regarding the design, specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs and time;  plans preliminary layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design subject to managerial and/or engineering review and approval; preparation of scale and full sized drawings and contract documents for building contractors; assists in preparing RFP packages and awarding construction contracts; administering construction contracts; conducting periodic on-site observations of work in progress, evaluates and reports results; compiling information and/or preparing comprehensive technical studies and related reports.
